I didn't draw them in the Rare style so as to spare you all from crocodile man-tits.
The CGI of this show DEFINITIVELY aged badly, but it's still got a rough charm to it.
Not quite like the standard of good ol' Rankin/Bass, but the show had fun with itself, not trying for realism or anything grander than motion capture for the characters. (which, still, was pretty big for a mid-to-late '90s 3D television show, way before the advances the industry have today)
Rant aside, this show's a real blast. Minecart chases, temple treks, K. Rool's over-the-top ego compared to his underlings file-and-rank stupidity, Skurvy and (suprisingly more often) Polly Roger shaking things up, Donkey Kong and Bluster getting in each others grill, Funky being a cool cucumber, Candy being more proactive instead of just being the token girlfriend like in-game... the list writes itself!
